Our History

LinkSat was founded in January of 1999 by a group of senior satellite industry executives. The founders have a wide range of experience in all facets of the business, including engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing, system integration, and services.

Originally focused primarily as a product supplier and systems integrator for satellite communications projects all over the world, the Company has successfully completed satellite system integration projects in over 20 countries since its inception.

Our Philosophy

LinkSat has gradually shifted its business focus over the past five years in response to the ever-changing telecommunications marketplace.

The management team's knowledge of these business areas and experience in these markets has resulted in the recognition of an unfulfilled need: a cost-effective solution that utilizes a widely used standard platform with an integrated bandwidth manager. The solutions development business was created to exploit this concept.

LinkSat is now focused on development and provision of IP satellite and last mile applications utilizing its integrated LinkXX hardware/ software platform, and revolutionary SCAN and SAMBA (patent pending) bandwidth managers.

Data Networking

LinkSat is a provider of application-oriented convergent multimedia network solutions for satellite and wireless communications.

LinkSat has developed a full suite of highly innovative end-to-end enterprise solutions for data networking and digital video delivery. These solutions offer true network convergence, seamlessly bridging the gap between data networking and satellite communications.
